Day Three - Columbia, Tennessee

The Quarterfinal round took place at Columbia State Community College. Post 34 took on the Middle Tennessee Mix and won 4-1. Following the game, we drove into Nashville for dinner and entertainment.

Game Four: Post 34 - 4 MT Mix - 1

Chase Sullivan only allowed one run in 7 innings of work to help Post 34 get the win. Sullivan struck out eight and gave up 5 hits to get the complete game win.
In the second inning with one out, Brandon Tubbs walked and Austin Alexander singled. Alec Adamcyzk singled to load the bases. Jacob Bush doubled to right to bring in Tubbs and Alexander but Jordan Cooley, who was running for Post 34 catcher, Adamcyzk, was thrown out at the plate for the third out.
In the fourth inning, Tubbs and Alexander scored again after Tubbs reached on a double down the line and Alexander was hit by a pitch. After a sacrifice bunt by Austin Dickerson, Jacob Bush got his second hit of the game to bring in Tubbs and Alexander.
Also having a multi-hit performance for Post 34 was Chase Fields (3-3 with 2 singles and a double), Brandon Tubbs (2-2 with a single and a double), and Alec Adamcyzk (2-3 with two singles).
Post 34 will play Hit after Hit from Nashville, TN at 10 AM on Monday. The winner will advance to the championship to play the winner of Dothan Post 12 and Ponotoc (MS) Post 6 at 12:30 PM.
